Hofner 500/5 1959 – Original Condition near museum quality (must be the world’s best)
|
|
| This legendary bass guitar carries the exact detail specifications as the original instrument used by Stuart Sutcliffe (and occasionally upside down by Paul McCartney) during his time in the Beatles whilst in Germany. Famously, Lennon insisted that Stuart spend the money of his first sold painting to buy a brand new brunette Hofner bass, hence, forcing his good friend to join his band. This bass became the first bass ever used by the Beatles. History was already being made. | ||
